Job summary
The Haematology Department has a part-time vacancy for a Medical Secretary / Pathway Navigator.
Experienced and committed, you will provide an efficient and comprehensive administrative service to the Consultants and multi-disciplinary team.
The successful applicant will need to have a good general level of education with formal secretarial qualifications or experience of working as a Medical Secretary and possess the essential qualifications outlined in the attached Person Specification.
This role also encompasses Haematology Administration, dealing with appointments for Haematology patient .
This vacancy requires interaction with patients, GPs, Consultants, and team members.

Main duties of the job
This role is based at Watford General Hospital . The successful candidate will provide medical secretarial support to 2 part time Haematology Consultant and their team, and act as a central point for the managing and booking of the following up appointments
