We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Midwife to join our friendly and growing team as a Lavender Team Midwife.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Midwife who is looking for a new challenge in management and leadership, focusing on delivering exceptional care and support to staff and service users.
We are looking for someone who has special interest in working with vulnerable women and their families, to join a well-established team of midwives at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Main duties of the job
The Lavender Team provides a traditional model of midwifery care (antenatal and postnatal continuity) to vulnerable pregnant women including teenagers, women with learning disabilities, victims of domestic abuse, women experiencing severe mental health issues, and women with complex safeguarding issues.
You will be required to participate in the community on call service to support women birthing at home and the trust escalation process.
