Job summary

Main duties of the job

We are looking to recruit Theatre Support Workers who will play an integral role at all stages of a patient's perioperative journey.

As a Theatre Support Worker, you will be a valuable part of the Theatre team.

Please read through the attached job description to see details of what the role involves.

As communication and basic numeracy are essential for this role, you will be required to successfully pass an assessment test as part of the selection process.

You will undertake the apprenticeship qualifications at Level 2 or 3 in Clinical Healthcare (Previously known as an NVQ).

We are recruiting for full time positions covering a 12-hour day, 5-day a week, shift pattern.

Posts involve working 3 long days with 1 week in 4 working a 4-day week.Shifts are 12 hours long (this includes an hour allocated for breaks).

Shifts start at 8:00am and finish at 9:00pm. Shifts will cover 5 days per week.

We are all employed to work across sites so this work pattern may be subject to change if working on another site.
