Job summary

The Respiratory Department has a vacancy for a fixed term Band 5 Service Coordinator to work as part of the Respiratory team at Watford General and Hemel Hempstead Hospitals. Experienced and committed, you will provide an efficient and comprehensive line-management of A&C staff and support to management and the multi-disciplinary team.

The successful applicant will need to have a good general level of education with experience of line management and possess the essential qualifications outlined in the attached Person Specification.

This is a maternity cover for 9 months, at 31 hours per week. With the core working hours to be between 0800 and 1700.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job include but not exclusive to:

Line management, including sickness, appraisals, mandatory training and annual leave

Day to day operational management

Support the ADM and ASM for the service

Recruitment

Implementing new processes and ways of working

Support the MDT team
