Job summary
We have a fantastic job opportunity for a Server and Network Analyst to assist the Network Assurance Lead and Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Architect in providing specialist technical advice, assurance, and expertise to ensure the Trust ICT Programme goals are met.
You will be expected to have experience of working in complex integrated architectures with evidence of being the subject matter expert in technical areas on a number of complex large-scale projects.
The work is varied and will require someone with confidence and the ability to think on their feet. This is a very busy and demanding role.Working hours are 9:00 to 17:00 or 08:00 - 16:00.
Main duties of the job
To be successful in this role you will have excellent analytical and communication skills, to understand complex technical solutions and explain them to a non-technical audience.
You must have a technical background with experience in delivering 2nd level IT support across multiple platforms including Windows desktops, servers, networking and telephony infrastructure.
You will also be proficient in identifying and documenting technical requirements for a particular IT solution.
Familiarity with network management tools and systems will be an advantage as the role includes monitoring the health of the Trust's ICT assets and working with our partners to rectify any problems.
