Job summary

We are looking to recruit a receptionist to join our friendly Patient Assessment team and am who can work in a multi-tasking environment, including:

In addition, the role is an 18-month level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship. The benefit from an environment where they can learn the fundamentals of their new role while gaining a qualification.

If required there is an option to obtain the Medical Terminology module as part of the above apprenticeship.

Main duties of the job

Dealing with patient requests over the telephone and in person who require medical care, ask the relevant questions and sign post them to the appropriate person.

Register new patients completing all necessary paperwork.

General admin duties such as sorting old patient records ready for summarising.

Recalling patients for appointments either by phone, text, or email

Deal with general patient queries.
