Job summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated members of staff to work in our Pathology Reception providing support to the Blood Sciences laboratory across our laboratory sites in West Herts Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Laboratory experience and keyboard skills will be an advantage, however full training will be provided.

This is a part- time post for 27.4 hours.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be required to work at either of the sites providing blood science services (Watford or Hemel Hempstead Hospital).

The role involves the registering of patients on the laboratory IT system and sample preparations prior to analyse by our Biomedical scientist team. The role is busy and requires an exceptional degree of accuracy.
