Job summary

West Herts NHS Trust Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Part Time band 2 Healthcare Assistant for 20 hours per week within the Outpatient Department at Hemel Hempstead.

This position require flexibility working Monday -Friday between 4-5 days based on the need of the service.

The working hours may be as follow.

2 x 08:00-18:00

Or half day 08:00-13:30

13:00-18:00.

The above hours depend on the need of service.

Main duties of the job

The applicant should ideally have outpatient experience with good communication and organisational skills, to support clinics.

To support Registered Nurse to maintain/improve and develop high standard of patient care, and thereby ensuring that patient is treated with privacy, dignity, and respect.

The Main duties of the job.

  • Set up and support clinics.
  • To work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse
  • To assist the Registered Nurse with Specified clinical activities.
