Job summary
We are looking for an EPR developer to join our team within ICT.
Following the implementation of Cerner Millennium at the end of 2021, we are continuing to expand and refine our use of the EPR solution to meet the needs of our services.
As further teams come on board and the capabilities of the system are understood better, there are a growing number of requests to develop the EPR to capture all the required data for support the clinical teams and our patients.
Main duties of the job
The EPR Developer role sits within a joint integration and development team within ICT.
You will work closely with the EPR change team helping to develop solutions within the EPR following requests made by various clinical services.
This involves making technical changes to mPages, Powerforms, PowerOrders, Dynamic Documents...etc. So experience and training in the Cerner development tools it essential.
We are looking for someone with good knowledge of NHS services and applications - especially Cerner Millennium, who can ensure the best approach is taken in line with national and local requirements for reporting and data capture.

The role will be responsible for the hands on development of the Cerner EPR:
Providing solution designs to user requests.
Supporting the change process to ensure proposed changes are clinically safe and strategically aligned.
Ensure best practice approaches are taken regarding new developments.
Building and testing solutions across various test domains.
Liasing with the Cerner AMS teams for any Cerner led development work.
Working with support and information teams, to ensure hand over to BAU and reporting requirements are fulfilled.
Working closely with integration colleagues to ensure required data flows to other clinical systems as designed.
