Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic midwife to join our Midwifery team as the lead midwife for the Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle.
The post holder will work with midwifery, obstetric, and neonatal colleagues to lead on the continued implementation and monitoring of the Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle across the Trust. The postholder is expected to have excellent communication skills and be able to manage their own workload.

Main duties of the job
To lead, facilitate and build on the current practice to enable the delivery of the Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle version 3 at West Hertfordshire NHS Trust which include:
- Reducing smoking in pregnancy
- Fetal growth
- Raising awareness of reduce fetal movements (RFM)
- Effective fetal monitoring
- Reducing preterm birth
- Management of pre-existing diabetes
