We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can join our busy HR team at Watford General Hospital.
You will provide admin support to the Operational HR Team. You will be the first point of contact for people contacting the department, providing advice on policies or directing to HR Advisers for specialist advice.

Main duties of the job
You will support the team with general administration duties, data analysis using excel, liaising with managers trust-wide, answering basic HR queries, arranging meetings / hearings, preparing hearing packs, transcribing recordings of HR meetings, administration of the maternity leave process, responding to Freedom of Information requests and providing project support to the HRBP's.
The post covers core hours of 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. We will consider applications for flexible working and support an element of home working.

As a key member of the HR team, the post holder will provide administrative and business support to the Employee Relations Team and HR Business Partners.
This includes providing support to the HR team as the first point of contact for walk-in, email and telephone enquiries, directing employees toappropriate policies and responding to questions where appropriate or directing to appropriate ER Advisers for specialist advice.
This work will involve working with a wide variety of stakeholders and organisations and will require negotiating skills to ensure effective employee engagement in convening A4C panels, organisation of hearings / appeals and meetings associated with Management of Change. It will alsorequire providing admin support to HR projects. It is therefore essential that effective working relationships and efficient working practices aredelivered.
