Job summary
We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the Ward Clerk's team to provide an administrative and reception service to Maternity wards and outpatient clinics within the Maternity Unit.
You must have a high standard of literacy and numeracy and excellent keyboard skills. High level understanding and working knowledge of computer systems. A friendly and outgoing approach with patients and their families.
We currently have a vacancy for a full time role 37.5 hours per week, 12.5 hours shifts including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
Position is based at Watford General Hospital, Women's and Children's Services.
Main duties of the job
To provide administrative services to Maternity Wards and outpatient clinics in Maternity Unit.
Understanding of IT systems and able to work under pressure and multitask. Able to work as an individual and in a team also. You must have good communication and typing skills, teamwork and time management skills.
