An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Staff Nurses on Ward 12 at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. This is a busy 30 bedded acute medical ward specialising in gastroenterology and cardiology.

Ward 12will offer you an opportunity to develop clinical knowledge and nursing skills in caring for patients with liver disease,inflammatory bowel disease, functional disturbances,acute, chronic and complex conditions effecting the heart.

Main duties of the job

To work according to the NMC Code, Professional Standards of practice and behaviour for nurses and midwives and take responsibility for:

  • The assessment of care and health education needs;
  • The development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care including discharge planning for each patient.

The post holder should be competent incarrying out relevant care without direct supervision.
