Join Our Compassionate Neonatal Leadership Team!

Are you an experienced Neonatal Nurse looking for an exciting new opportunity? We have a rare opening for dedicated professionals to join our forward-thinking, family-focused neonatal leadership team.

We are expanding our staff and creating new roles for supernumerary Coordinators in specialised areas.

We are introducing positions for a Transitional Care Nurse, aRisk and Governance Nurse and a Data and Audit Nurse. These positions include supernumerary in-charge shifts with protected time for specialised tasks.

Our 18-bed Local Neonatal Unit (LNU) within the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex Neonatal ODN provides care for babies born from 27 weeks gestation. With two intensive care, four high dependency, and twelve special care cots, our purpose-built unit supports an acute maternity service with approximately 5500-6000 deliveries per year. We are also very proud to have achieved Bliss Platinum status.

Once your pre-employment checks have been completed you will be contacted by Recruitment to arrange your start date which will be in line with one of our Corporate Inductions.

Following your Corporate Induction you will be expected to attend the Trusts 2-week Induction Programme for RNs, NAs, RMs, ODPs and Paramedics. The programme is full-time (please emailmtw-tr.professionalstandards@nhs.netif this is problematic) and will involve travel to both Trust sites. The programme includes supernumerary shifts in the clinical area, classroom-based sessions and e-learning.
