We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic senior nurse, with a strong work ethic and a solid clinical background in Chemotherapy and Oncology, to lead our well-established team on the Charles Dickens Day Unit.
The Oncology Team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a forward-thinking, patient-focused team providing a high standard of care for patients diagnosed with cancer, embracing change to improve patient experience.
The Team are an integral part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) and work closely with medical colleagues, diagnostic services, inpatient and outpatient teams to provide a holistic and patient-centred service and to ensure a streamlined pathway of care for patients.

Main duties of the job
To manage the day to day running of the department, ensuring an effectiveand efficient nursing service within available resources.To ensure provision of high quality patient centred care.To be responsible for the safe and effective running of the unit ensuringappropriate coordination of patients to maintain an effective flow through the unit.
