We are seeking a well organised and proactive team player to join our Recruitment Team, providing administrative support to deliver an efficient and professional recruitment and HR service to the Trust. Are you able to prioritise and demonstrate excellent attention to detail and team working skills, with the ability to multi-task whilst dealing with frequent interruptions?

Please note this role will be directly supporting the recruitment of Clinical and Critical roles.

Main duties of the job

To provide an efficient, thorough and timely recruitment administrative support service supporting Trust recruitment, selection, ongoing employment checking processes, and payroll admin to ensure the provision of an efficient, effective and timely service provision which is compliant with DoH guidelines, NHS Employment Standards, legislation, Trust policies and procedures, and best practice.

You will create professional correspondence responding to applicant queries pre-employment checks and onboarding. The successful applicant will be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook and have some previous administrative experience.

You will undertake accurate and efficient data entry onto our applicant tracking system Trac. The role will involve processing applicants in a timely manner and guiding them through the recruitment process.

We currently operate a hybrid working model once you have completed your face-to-face training, working in the office 1-2 days a week.

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital Trust in the county of Kent.

The Trust provides a full range of general hospital services and some areas of specialist complex care to around 500,000 people living in the south part of West Kent and the north part of East Sussex.

The Trust's core catchment areas are Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding boroughs. We work from two main clinical sites: Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury. Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients - the first of its kind in the country.

We employ over 6,500 full and part-time staff in a huge range of clinical and non-clinical roles across both of our hospital sites.
