An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and skilled Radiographer to lead our superb team within x-ray at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
The x-ay Superintendent is a pivotal member of the Radiology Team. The post holder will be supported by the Radiology management team to lead a team of dedicated Radiographers providing x-ray services.
The successful candidate will also work closely with Consultant Radiologists, Clinical Governance Lead, Practice Educator, wider Management and Superintendent Team.

The Radiology department is in a period of change with exciting new developments at our Community Diagnostic Centre. As such the structure across our hospitals is developing as we work to support this expansion.

Main duties of the job
The key role of the X-ray Superintendent is to support the flow of our patients through the X-ray department. This requires a dedication to providing the best care for our patients and staff.
- The post holder will be responsible for X-ray services at our Community Diagnostic Centre and will support the wider trust x-ray service in conjunction with the Superintendents of the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells sites
- The post holder will provide professional Leadership to the Team within X-ray
- The post holder will manage X-ray equipment on a day to day basis
- The post holder will lead current and new staff members
- The post holder will develop and be responsible for implementation of departmental policies & protocols
