The Ultrasound Department Women's and children's at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospital has a vacancy for a Assistant to join their busy and friendly Team!

An opportunity has arisen for an RDA to join the ultrasound team in Women's and Children's department at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust ( Pembury Site)

We are looking for a band 3 to join our dynamic, friendly and progressive team. We are hoping to find an RDA who is motivated, enthusiastic and compassionate, they will need to be a good team player and willing to participate in all aspects of the department.

As a specialised women's health unit, the work load includes gynae, obstetrics, cancer pathways and a dedicated early pregnancy unit. We work closely with our consultant leads. We are actively involved in CPD, clinical governance, audit and patient follow up.

We are a training hospital for Doctors, midwives and sonographers.

Previous experience in the NHS is preferred. Flexible working would be considered.

Tunbridge Wells hospital is a PFI hospital built in 2009, it offers subsidised parking, restaurant and has a nursery on the Maidstone site with free bus travel between sites.

Main duties of the job

If you have excellent communication skills, a pleasant manner, computer literacy with experience of patient databases then we would love to meet you! You should have a desire to expand beyond your current experiences and be willing to meet new challenges with our support.

Previous clinical experience in a Ultrasound healthcare setting is useful but not essential.

You will need to be flexible in their approach to work. The core operating hours of the department are Monday - Sunday at Pembury Hospital.
