Job summary
The post holder will work as an integral member of the department team. They will form part of the team to deliver quality services particularly pertaining to infection control, audit and non-clinical patient services. The post holder will be expected to ensure the clinical areas are stocked to an acceptable level and that all equipment within the department is clean and in good working order. You will coordinate non-clinical ward services such as catering, cleaning, equipment and supplies.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to work closely with contractors, support services, other departments, patients and their friends/families, face to face and via the telephone. They will monitor quality standards and arrange for deficiencies to be rectified and support the ED team to deliver quality care to our patients and their families.
