Job summary

Our team and services are expanding due to recent investment, and we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to join our fantastic clinical team at Tunbridge Wells Hospital.

Our Medicines Management Technicians are a vital part of the team that deliver high quality clinical pharmacy services to our patients across the hospital, and are well supported by our clinical pharmacists in all speciality areas. You will have opportunities to work on surgical, medical and paediatric wards, engaging with a wide range of patients.

We are seeking to improve patient flow and speed up the safe discharge of our patients across the hospital through initiatives such as ward-based dispensing. Our team of Technicians will be pivotal to the success of this.

You will be an experienced Technician who is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. You will be motivated, organised, enthusiastic and able to work effectively as part of a team.

You will work closely with other pharmacy staff to deliver a clinical service that is safe and efficient and to ensure that that all appropriate records are maintained.
