The Head & Wellbeing Manager role will be a member of the senior management team and will implement, develop and embed health and wellbeing strategies in line with trust visions and national objectives to deliver the NHS People Promise-We are safe and healthy.
You will provide leadership and direction to the Wellbeing Team and work collaboratively with colleagues across the People & OD Directorate and the wider Trust to deliver proactive wellbeing programmes and projects.
Main duties of the job
We have been shortlisted for the CIPD People Management Awards this year for Best Public Sector Wellbeing Initiative and we have an ambitious programme of events planned for this 23/24-so you will be a joining a team committed to high performance and continuous improvement.
As well as managing a small dedicated team you will also have responsibility for further development of leaders and managers in regards to supporting staff wellbeing and in developing our health and wellbeing champions. You will have the opportunity to work directly with our dedicated Wellbeing Guardian Non Executive Director-this role is all about making a positive difference.

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital Trust in the county of Kent.
The Trust provides a full range of general hospital services and some areas of specialist complex care to around 500,000 people living in the south part of West Kent and the north part of East Sussex.
The Trust's core catchment areas are Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding boroughs. We work from two main clinical sites: Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury. Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients - the first of its kind in the country.
