Job summary
Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital Trust in the south east of England. The Trust provides a full range of general hospital services and some areas of specialist complex care to around 560,000 people living in the south of West Kent and the north of East Sussex. The Trust's core catchment areas are Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding boroughs, and it operates from two main clinical sites: Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury.

It is also home to the main base of Kent Oncology Centre, which provides complex radiotherapy and chemotherapy for patients throughout Kent and North East Sussex.
Main duties of the job
You would be responsible for ensuring a comprehensive administrative and clerical service is provided to the Cancer Performance Service and assist in managing a team of staff who will deliver this.
Good communication and IT skills are essential. An ability to work within a busy environment would be necessary to fulfil this role and previous experience in the FDS service, 2 week wait and MDM teams is an advantage.

Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients - the first of its kind in the country.
We employ over 6,500 full and part-time staff in a huge range of clinical and non-clinical roles across both of our hospital sites.
