Job summary
As a Pharmacy Administrator, you will work as part of the pharmacy team and will be responsible for the provision of high quality pharmacy services.
Your role will be to provide exceptional standards of customer service by: Exceptional communication and customer service skills; Ability to multi- task; Strong prioritisation and organisation skills; Strong administration and record keeping skills. Our highly accessible service offers opening hours across seven days and late evening. Therefore, a requirement to contribute to evening and weekend working in line with the needs of the business.
Main duties of the job
Contacting patients to arrange prescription collection and delivery dates whilst managing the pharmacy's workload.

To effectively handle prescriptions and associated interactions with patients, ensuring a positive and professional user experience, by; Communicating with patients, representatives and hospital staff mainly over the telephone but can be face to face or by electronic methods in arranging prescription collections (via various methods) or deliveries.
Receiving prescription from patients, their representatives and hospital staff and obtaining information to enable the dispensing team to safely prepare the medicines.
Communicating with other members of the pharmacy team, customers and patients to solve problems and ensure high standards of service. Showing a caring and professional approach towards patients, customers, relatives and carers.
