Job overview Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of evidence-based nursing care for a group of patients Assist in and contribute to the management and organisation of a ward/clinical area. Main duties of the job
The Emergency Department at the Leicester Royal Infirmary is part of the University Hospitals of Leicester. It opened in April 2017 and was part of a £48 million redevelopment creating a new combined Acute and Emergency Floor.
The EDsees around 180.000 to 230.00 patient each year and is one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the NHS.
We employ a range of nursing staff and offer an excellent education programme to provide on-going development and support. We encourage our staff to develop their skills and have promotional opportunities within the department.
Applications are invited from experienced registered nurses with 6 months experience. We also have the opportunities to develop skills and professional growth from newly registered nurses.
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, confident and self-motivated nurses who possess excellent communication skills and enjoy a challenge.
