Job Title: Reproductive Science Associate Practitioner

Base: You may be required to work in other designated locations of theTrust as well as your primary base. In particular, flexibility isrequired across the three main hospital sites (Leicester RoyalInfirmary, Leicester General Hospital and Glenfield Hospital). Ifyour initial location is one of these sites excess travelreimbursement would not apply for a permanent or temporarychange of base.

Main duties of the job
The Fertility Centre provides diagnostic and treatment services to patients across Leicester and Leicestershire. It is a Human Fertilisation and Embryology (HFEA) licensed centre with ISO 9001:20015 quality management system certification.
The post holder is required to participate in the provision of embryology and andrology services, including operation & maintenance of laboratory equipment, data entry, dish preparation & diagnostic semen analysis. To accurately perform SOP driven duties and tasks in a busy laboratory; the post holder will work under the direction of the state registered laboratory staff, but will be assigned responsibility for specific duties so should be able to work using their own initiative.
