Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 to work within the 2 haemodialysis units in Peterborough, caring for 144 patients across the 2 units.
Both units are open from 07:00 -23.00 Monday to Saturday. Our shift patterns are early 7 -6pm and late 12-11pm with one 7-3pm, 11-7pm or 3-11pm per week
Previous experience in renal/ haemodialysis is desirable but not essential, as full in-house training and support will be given.The team you will be joining is dedicated to training of both staff and patients. The management team is highly visible across both units.

Main duties of the job
-
Main duties involved are of patients undergoing dialysis, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained throughout. Being responsible for medication rounds, infection prevention and care plans being up to date.

Commencing treatments and disconnecting patients, to get patients home safely.

Working as part of a team to work to time schedules to result in a good flow of the ward.
