Job summary
To provide a full administration service to the Professor Harper Trauma Clinic (PHTC) in Fracture Clinic at the LRI. You will be required to support patients in a compassionate and efficient manner through the emergency pathway.
Main duties of the job
Working closely with medical and nursing teams in Fracture Clinic to ensure the quality standards of the Trust are met. You will work flexibly to cover a seven-day service.
To provide support and guidance to patients, carers, relatives, and others contacting the service. You will provide a first point of contact for all levels of staff, patients and their relatives.
You will be required to work autonomously and manage your own workload to prioritise the needs of the service.

You will be responsible for answering and prioritising telephone enquiries in a timely manner from patients, relatives, other departments and GP practices.
You will proactively co-ordinate requests for appointments ensuring that each patient receives the appropriate follow up appointments.
