If you are a Registered Nurse/ Registered Nurse Children's who is experienced in leading education and training in Paediatrics and/or Neonates, has expertise of leading a team in the delivery of strategic priorities that will support the new NHS 10 year plan 'Fit for the Future', then we look forward to receiving your application for this key post in the UHL Children's Hospital.

Main duties of the job

As an Education and Practice Development Lead you will work with the Deputy Chief Nurse within the UHL School of Nursing Practice and the Head of Nursing within the UHL Childrens Hospital developing and implementing our Strategic Priorities for education, training, and development within the Women's and Children's Clinical Management Group (CMG).

You will also work in partnership with The University of Leicester and De Montfort University to ensure the delivery of the highest standards of pre and post registration education and training is fully embedded in curriculums for our learners.

  • Lead and implement focused Paediatric & Neonatal education and training strategies.
