Would you like to be part of the team who help our patients prepare for theatre? A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work in Reception within our brand newly opened planed care hub- EMPCC, covering Pain and General Surgery procedures.
You will be joining a cohesive and enthusiastic team who are passionate about ensuring patients are given the best experience whilst waiting for surgery. You will work closely with the nursing/ medical and theatre teams to ensure we provide exceptional patient care within a warm and friendly environment.

Main duties of the job
- To provide a comprehensive administrative support to the Theatre Arrivals team and theatre teams.

Greeting patients on arrivals to theatre and booking in safely and competently. Preparing notes for surgery and working closely with medical records and specialties to ensure notes arrive on time.

Answering telephone politely and using computer systems such as ORMIS, Patient Centre, Track IT.

To minimise waste and efficient use of resources within the role.

Ensure that knowledge is current with regard to all relevant policies & procedures and that you remain compliant with them.

Carry out duties placed on employees by all relevant legislation and Trust policies, procedures and practices.

Support the implementation of relevant organisational policies and procedures.

Communicate clearly, politely and effectively with all service users and service stakeholders.
