Pharmacy Purchasing Officer

We are looking for forward thinking, hardworking individuals to join our UHL Pharmacy Homecare Team as a Pharmacy Purchasing Officer.
You will be based at the Leicester General Hospital primarily and will be responsible for the ordering and invoicing of all homecare drugs for UHL patients.
The ideal candidate will have excellent IT skills and fantastic inter-personal communication skills. They will enjoy working as part of a fast-moving, growing team and be organised and enthusiastic.
Main duties of the job
The UHL homecare service is an amazing, dynamic and fast-growing service. UHL has one of the largest established services in the region, looking after over 7000 patients across many clinical areas. This service has doubled and doubled again in the last few years and continues to grow through regular investment. It is an established, widely respected service.
Main duties to include, maintainence and full compliance to financial governance and ensure a full audit trail of all prescriptions orders and invoices. This includes full JAC (Pharmacy dispensing system) patient level finance data, maintaining service spreadsheets, and electronically storage of all relevant prescription documentation in line with pharmacy record keeping retention requirements.
