It is an interesting and varied role in which you will be responsible for ensuring that the diabetic population of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland book their annual retinal screening appointment and receive their results in a timely manner.
Working within a call centre environment, answering patient queries, making appointments at clinical locations and general administration duties. See attached job description and person specification for more details.
Main duties of the job
You should enjoy working to deadlines, be able to pay attention to detail and be accurate with your work.
You should demonstrate a desire to work with the public and possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
Experience of clerical and telephone based work within a busy administration department is essential.
A working knowledge of the NHS and HISS is desirable although not essential.

The post-holder will be accountable for the effective day to day administration of the call and recall system for people from Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland with diabetes to the diabetic eye screening service.
