Our service is expanding and we are entering an exciting period of change and development which means there a number of roles available within the Endoscopy Team.

The role will require you to undertake a number of administration tasks, which include; reception cover to our endoscopy units, clinic preparation, patient admissions and discharge and liaising with patients and other stakeholders. You will work collaboratively with admin colleagues, and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide a high standard service and patient experience.

We offer a 7 day service that runs into the evenings and weekends, and are able to consider flexible working opportunities.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is required to work as part of the Endoscopy admin team to effectively manage all aspects of the Endoscopy waiting list and reception duties.

To work alongside the other members of the Endoscopy team, providing support to all administrative functions.

To liaise and work proactively with members of the administrative teams and service users across all 3 sites to ensure an equitable service is provided to Endoscopy patients within UHL.

Work in line with Trust Policies and service specific policies as agreed by the Endoscopy User Group and with guidance from the service and general manager.

To communicate effectively with the endoscopy administration team and key service users.

  • GCSE Maths and English Grade C/4 and above

  • NVQ or equivalent qualification in Administration or evidence of further education

Experience
