Do you want to develop your Urology skills and knowledge or are a urology nurse already? Are you an enthusiastic emergency nurse looking for a challenge in our 24/7 emergency admissions unit? Or do you aspire to be an expert in the management of the complex urological surgical patient?
We currently are lucky enough to have a band 6 vacancy across the unit and would be interested to hear from anyone who has an interest/experience in urology and are ready for the challenge of a band 6 post.
If you have 5 years post registration experience or 2 years urology experience, are enthusiastic and passionate about nursing, then why not be part of our new expanding post reconfiguration urology unit.
Main duties of the job
Ward 29 is our dedicated 14 bedded emergency admission ward and triage area which accepts urological referrals 24/7. We are the busiest urology admissions unit in the UK currently and are looking for dynamic individuals to assist in implementing nurse led discharge, community patient pathways and generally fulfil the role of a deputy Sister.
