Job summary

The homecare service at UHL was established in 2012. It continues to see significant growth both in the number of services offered as well as patient numbers cared for year on year.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic pharmacy technician to join our Pharmacy Homecare Team at the Leicester General Hospital to help us manage homecare medicines.

Main duties of the job

You will also be part of the dispensary team where duties will include the dispensing and checking of medication and participation in out of hours rotas.

You should be proficient in the use of Pharmacy Management Systems, as well as Microsoft Excel. You will be conscientious, reliable, have good attention to detail, excellent communication skills and be able to work alone as well as part of a team.

You must be a qualified Pharmacy Technician with a BTEC or NVQ (or equivalent pharmacy technician qualification) in pharmaceutical sciences to apply for this post.
