Job summary
An opportunity has arisen to join University Hospitals Leicester NHS Trust, within the fast paced, highly ambitious People Services function as the Head of Pay, Pensions & Benefits
This role has responsibility for developing and leading on the payroll strategy for the organisation. You will be responsible for the management of the outsourced payroll and pension provider for UHL, that we deliver on our KPI's and that we make continued progress in our improvements and transformation aimed at delivering best practice in relation to pay and benefits for all staff at UHL.
Main duties of the job
As one of the most senior leaders in the function and organisation you will have freedom to act in delivering objectives, have autonomy to develop the role with unlimited opportunity to make a difference and will display the best possible behaviours in line with our values.
You will be qualified to IPPM Diploma and have significant experience of pay and benefits within a large, complex organisation. You will have a strong customer focus, working proactively with colleagues, stakeholders and contract providers. You will have the ability to deliver changes at pace whilst also leading and inspire others, promoting a culture in which the team strive for continuous quality improvement.
