Job summary
You will undertake a training scheme over 3 years in a joint venture between University Hospitals of Leicester (UHL) and our chosen University. You will be studying towards an AHCS accredited degree in Healthcare Science (Respiratory and Sleep) alongside a structured on-the-job training program.
University fees and education costs will be covered by UHL via the national Apprenticeship levy.
Main duties of the job
The busy and varied Respiratory/ Sleep Physiology department at Glenfield Hospital offer a wide range of investigations including;
Pulmonary Function testing, Physiologist-led Exercise testing, Oxygen Assessments, Blood Gas Analysis, Sleep investigations, CPAP and NIV therapy, In-flight Assessments, Challenge Testing, GI Physiology, Ambulatory BP monitoring and Autonomic Function testing.
