Job summary

Are you passionate about developing the AHP workforce? I am looking for a highly experienced AHP, whose values align with ours so that we can actively shape our AHP workforce agenda.

We are keen to further develop our AHP teams here at the University Hospitals of Leicester and I am looking for someone to support this program of work by driving out local workforce priorities forward aligning them to the national faculty workstreams.

The AHP faculty lead will support the Associate Chief AHP with the development of core strategies to support training and education which impact on over 1000 AHP staff. They will provide expert advice and support to the practice educators working across the CMGs.

Main duties of the job

The AHP Faculty lead will have leadership responsibility for the on-going development and sustainability of high quality and innovative workforce development for the AHPs within the Trust to include a focus on training and education.

The post holder will be responsible for leading on the key priorities for University Hospitals of Leicester linked to the national AHP Faculty work streams

The post holder will provide visible, accessible and authoritative clinical leadership for the programme linking with system partners.This will involve the production of plans, documentation and the provision of guidance through project lifecycles.

The post holder will be responsible for the on-going development and delivery of key AHP workforce plans with support from the Associate Chief AHP.
