The Pharmacy Department at Lincoln County Hospital provides ward-based, and dispensary services to a range of general and specialist areas including Admissions Unit, General Medical and Surgical, Haematology and Oncology and Critical Care wards. We have a fantastic integrated team of Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and Support Workers, and there is a supportive Pharmacy Education and Training team.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and hardworking individual. Duties will include working as the dispensary receptionist, topping up wards, clinics and departments, issuing medication to wards, clinics and departments, assessing stock for return and re-use, end of month filing, stock checks, stock rotation, and emergency drug cupboard stock control.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person who is able to work equally well as an individual or a member of the team. It will be essential for you to have the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 2 in Pharmacy, or be willing to study towards it.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
