Respiratory Physiology at ULHT is looking for 2 full time flexible and motivated Respiratory Physiologist to meet the needs of the service.
The post holder will be required to support the day to day running of the respiratory physiology service, perform reports and supervise complex specialised investigative procedures to ensure an efficient service.
Posts are based at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston and Lincoln County Hospital with Trust wide working.
Main duties of the job
To provide a specialist clinical technical service through the resource management, quality control of equipment, education of the health care profession whilst contributing to the development of procedures and services.
Involvement in all aspects of physiological measurement that are carried out in the Respiratory Physiology department. This will include using a variety of equipment and techniques to measure and monitor respiratory function for both inpatients and outpatients, assess lung disease, long term oxygen therapy assessment in an outpatient setting.
Sleep assessment and management of CPAP and review and develop exercise testing.
