Rostering and Resourcing Co-Ordinator - Band 4

Job summary

The Rostering and Resourcing team continues it's journey to support temporary staffing needs or managing the system for health roster, training or supporting our clinical colleagues, this role is varied and interesting.

Hybrid working available with weekly office presence required.

Main duties of the job

To Support the team to deliver and take responsibility for:

  • working with service lines to ensure that all new starters and leavers are correctly set up on the system
  • responsible for ensuring that all relevant elements of training and development are correctly set up on the system and the correct dates are recorded
  • working with service lines to ensure that all the relevant elements of roles skill mix are correctly recorded on the system
  • working with Service lines to encourage adherence to the Rostering Policy
  • To support in ongoing projects such as centralisation of rostering

Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.

Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.

The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).

  • Vocational Level 3 within a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Recent and continued professional development (CPD)

Desirable

  • European Computer Driving Licence or equivalent Allocate Accreditation

Previous Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working in a busy administrative environment, delivering a full range of secretarial and administrative procedures
  • Previous experience of working with a range of clinical and/or corporate systems such as e-rostering
  • Previous experience in organising and planning activities and being able to react to changes as required
  • Management of records and information in an office environment.
  • Previous experience of establishing and maintaining new systems of working
  • Previous experience and knowledge of clinical or corporate systems

  • Previous experience of Health Roster systems
  • Previous experience of working in the NHS
