This vacancy is for a 23 month fixed term post to join the EPR Testing team for the implementation of NerveCentre Electronic Patient Record (EPR).
The EPR Test Analyst Lead is part of the Digital Services Team responsible for ensuring an effective regime of system regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) being implemented, leading to delivery of software which is robust and fit for purpose. The focus will be on the testing of strategic clinical systems deployed and interoperating with our new EPR in the context of several acute hospitals. This involves leading and coordinating testing and system validation.
Main duties of the job
1. The successful candidate will be an experienced test analyst with significant Oracle Cerner Millennium experience and will build on this to make an effective contribution to both Trusts' strategic objectives and key work programmes.
2. The role reports to the EPR Testing Lead and works closely across the Trust with applications and will work with the local Trust Integration Leads, the Information Services Teams, IT Training, IT Technical Support, Applications and Service Delivery teams
3. The postholder will review software functional specifications, advise on testing requirements and co-ordinate with departmental leads on scheduling and execution of testing. The post-holder will be responsible for regression testing and support UAT including designing test cases, writing test scripts, executing test scripts for both new and upgraded software/changes, as well as defining & maintaining the test plans, test conditions & traceability matrix.
4. Working to the EPR Testing Lead, the role will support the EPR Programme by defining, improving, the testing phase in the Software Development lifecycle for the assurance and delivery of new software releases for projects and programmes.

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).

- Previously engaged successfully in multiple implementation and development cycles
