Band 3 Physiotherapy Assistant - fixed termBase: Lincoln Hospital, Lincoln.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed person to join the dedicated Pelvic Health Team at Lincoln Hospital, Lincoln as a Band 3 Physiotherapy Assistant to support the establishment of Perinatal Pelvic Health Services. This is initially a fixed term contract but may lead to a substantive post.

As the successful post holder, you will be integral in supporting the prevention, identification and timely treatment of a range of issues antenatally and for at least twelve months after birth. You will receive full training to enable you to fulfil your role effectively and work independently under indirect supervision.

We collaborate closely with our obstetric and midwifery colleagues to deliver outstanding care to our maternity population.

Main duties of the job

To work as an integral and active part of the Perinatal Pelvic Health Service (PPHS) and work collaboratively with the wider Pelvic Health Physiotherapy services within the United Lincolnshire Teaching hospitals.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Perinatal Pelvic Health team in a clinical role under supervision of the registered staff, supporting women and birthing people in inpatient, outpatient community settings with problems relating to pelvic floor dysfunction. This will include administration responsibilities relating to perinatal pelvic health

The post holder may also be required to work as part of a 7 day rota.
