The post holder will be responsible for strategic and operational management for the Estates Operational team across the Group in which includes United Lincolnshire teaching Hospital NHS Trust sites and Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust Sites.
As part of a dynamic estates team operating within the United Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Trust Group you will provide day-to-day leadership, line management responsibilities, strategic and operations project management and co-ordination of a number of complex and Acute and Community Properties which will impact across the Trusts Group Sites. To ensure that our services, practices and resources are effectively applied in order to help deliver Estates Maintenance Services within timescale and to budget.
The post-holder will play a proactive part in the senior management team and be responsible for liaising with a range of service leads (both clinical and non-clinical), staff, service users and external stakeholders, in order to ensure full engagement and success of all Estates delivered services.
Responsible for compiling business plan, developing strategy for area of activity, ensuring implementation and that performance targets, strategic objectives are met; contributes to corporate policies and strategy.
Main duties of the job
- To be a member of the Estates & Facilities senior operational management team, participating in the overall management of the Directorate's activities and the achievement of the corporate objectives of LCHG.
- Develop and implement effective channels and systems of communication, including written and verbal, formal and informal, so as to ensure that Corporate and relevant Departmental information is disseminated in a timely and appropriate manner within the maintenance team.
- Responsible for developing and planning complex works programmes and activities where there is a requirement for analysing and comparing a wide range of complex options to ensure that time and resources are effectively managed and allocated to provide a value for money service
- To ensure that all LCHG Policies and Procedures, which relate to governance, risk and CQC standards, are implemented within the facilities department, followed by all staff, and are regularly audited.

Provide effective leadership, influencing and motivating functional managers and the management of staff, which promotes high performance standards, both individually and as a team, in the achievement of LCHG objectives and priorities.
