Job summary

The EPR Training Lead will be responsible for the delivery of the training workstreams, playing a key role in the implementation of the new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, NerveCentre, across United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

The EPR Training Lead will design, plan, manage and facilitate the delivery of high quality- digital training, enabling the Trust to effectively implement a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) within the Programme Delivery Plan timescales.

The EPR Training Lead will lead the Training Delivery Group and will recruit and manage the team of EPR trainers, who will deliver a range of classroom-based, face-to-face and eLearning packages.

Main duties of the job

The EPR Training Lead role will play an important and key part of the implementation of an ePR into the trust.

The role will be required to review the current strategy and develop a flexible plan to deliver training across the trust working alongside the preferred supplier. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a team capable of developing and delivering a range of training methods to suit all staff and to be delivered in a timely manner.

The role will need to need to take advantage of the Learning Management System and any software currently available, including articulate.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.

The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
