BAND 7 MRI Superintendent Radiographer FULL TIME - 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK
We have a vacancy for a highly motivated Superintendent MRI Radiographer to run the MRI units at the Grantham Community Diagnostic Center and Grantham and district hospital.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the right candidate who will need to lead an already well-established excellent team.
A flexible approach to the working day is essential. The successful candidate will be a dynamic State Registered Radiographer with a wealth of MR experience, both clinically and organisationally.
You will work in conjunction with the current MRI Superintendents, modality lead and MRI clinical specialist at all sites within the Trust to ensure a safe and efficient MRI department.
Main duties of the job
To effectively manage the MRI department, at both Grantham and District Hospital and our state of the art department within Grantham community diagnostic centre. Organising daily workloads, H&S, HR and recruitment, Appraisals, Magnet safety, image quality, patient care.
Developing plans to accommodate current and future demands by changing/improving working patterns to meet Trust objectives.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
