The Lincolnshire Integrated Care System brings together health and care providers across NHS, Local Authority, Care providers, Hospice and Third Sector organisations to deliver services to people in joined up way without organisational barriers to their care. All of these organisations recognise the opportunities that we have to use technology and digital transformation to deliver services differently, to support people in keeping well, and where needed getting help early and being supported. There is already some use of wearable technology across Lincolnshire that has started to do this. Our Remote Monitoring Programme exists to understand the opportunities to build on this and to ensure we make the right strategic decisions. We need a programme manager who can help build the business case, work collaboratively across system partners and with technical, and operational teams to ensure successful delivery of the programme.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will

  • Have experience in programme and project management
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills including clear communication, good listening skills, ability to build strong relationships, influence and negotiate
  • Have experience in the health and care sector, ideally related to how digital technology can support service transformation
  • Be resilient and self-sufficient
  • Work collegiately across the system

About us

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence to significant teaching commitment. From now on it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.

Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.

The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
