The Directorate

The Directorate provides a wide range of business support to the Trust including:

The Finance Directorate has received significant investment in order to ensure it is resourced appropriately to deliver a fit for purpose service to support the Trust on its improvement journey.

Main duties of the job

You will be a member of the Finance Department, working in Financial Management, and contributing to the delivery of a high quality Financial Management service.

Qualifications, Experience, Behaviours

  • Educated to A Level standard is essential
  • Actively studying towards AAT qualification is essential
  • Depending upon AAT qualification and experience, this role may initially be a Band 3 role, with progression to a band 4 once all work based competencies re met and AAT Technician achieved.
  • You must have experience of I.T. (including e-mail and spreadsheet skills), and have experience of understanding and manipulating data.
  • You must possess excellent communication skills, be able to work in a team, recognise the importance of team working and have good customer awareness.
  • It is also important that the person within this role demonstrates a strong performance against the Trust Behaviour Framework

Lincoln Hospital is a thriving university city, and with the opening of the new medical school, it provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service. Louth Hospital is set on the edge of the Wolds and serves the communities of Louth and the local area. It provides a number of services, including an outpatient department, diagnostic and surgical procedures, as well as a surgical ward.

  • AAT technician or equivalent ( band 4)
  • Actively studying towards AAT Qualification is essential (Depending upon AAT qualification and experience, this role may initially be a Band 3 role, with progression to band 4 once all work based competencies are met and AAT Technician achieved)

  • European Computer Driving License (or equivalent)
