About the Department...
We are looking to recruit a Specialty Coordinator to join our administrative teams within Radiology. Working within our busy environment you will be responsible for assisting in the provision of an effective, efficient and professional Radiology service.
Patient administration underpins the patient journey and supports clinical teams in delivering high quality patient care and can make a real difference to the patient experience.
Effective and efficient patient administration supports management through ensuring a high standard of data quality and by making the best use of capacity and resources. The Specialty Coordinator is pivotal in achieving effective patient administrations.
Main duties of the job
About the Role...
To assist the Business Support Manager in the provision of managing the team to contribute to both national and local targets and protocols are met, and data captured is relevant, timely and accurate.To assist in supervising staff on a daily basis, ensuring staff training and development needs are met and staff adhere to the Trusts required behaviours and policies.
What we're looking for.....
Knowledge and experience of NHS targets is essential as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to work as an individual and as part of a team having the ability to be flexible, being able to prioritise and organise work in order to meet tight deadlines whilst being able to adapt to the changing needs of the service. It is essential to be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, together with accuracy and attention to detail whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
