Job summary

We are recruiting to Bank Band 2 Occupational Therapy Assistant posts in Pilgrim Hospital, Boston. We would like to recruit people who are caring, passionate about helping people and motivated to work in Occupational Therapy within the hospital environment. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills with the confidence to work effectively within a team and wider colleagues.

Experience of working in a post where you have demonstrated the Trust values of being person centred, respectful, excellent, compassionate and safe, will be essential. We are looking to recruit people who would like to take their first step into healthcare. You must be enthusiastic and ready to take on the challenge of working in a busy environment. Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be welcomed to the Occupational Therapy Department and join a friendly team working on the wards. You will be working with individuals with a wide range of conditions including oncology, respiratory, cardiac and care of the elderly, orthopaedic and surgical conditions and frailty. This includes individuals with communication, cognitive, physical, and or emotional difficulties. Appropriate training will be provided to support your role and development within these areas and future opportunities within Occupational Therapy.
