Job summary

The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team under the supervision and guidance of the diabetes specialist nurses, and will provide high quality, evidence-based care and support of people with diabetes within the acute inpatient setting.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will also undertake administrative duties designed to ensure the smooth running of the diabetes specialist nurse pump and technology service. This will require higher level inputting of data via Excel and other software programmes.

Diabetes is a complex condition that requires a multidisciplinary team whom are highly motivate and passionate about the quality of care that is delivered. This role is critical in the organisation and delivery of the Trusts technology service working alongside the diabetes specialist team. This role involves a combination of patient education, clinical support, administration task and coordination of care , for insulin pumps, CGMS and BGM.

  • NVQ Level 3 in Business, Administration or equivalent experience.

Previous Experience

  • Experienced Medway user
